GetDebtFree.tools is a free educational project created and edited by Xavier Carraté. Contact xaviercahe@gmail.com about this policy, information you have sent us or an error. The calculators do not require an account, a financial profile or an email address.
Financial entries stay in your browser
The calculator and worksheet code processes the names, balances, rates, payments, income, expenses and dates you enter in your browser. It does not transmit those entries or imported financial files to us, an advertiser, a lender or an AI service. There is no bank connection, credit check or credit-approval decision. Do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords or identity documents. Use generic account names.
The main payoff calculator, budget tool, difficult-month worksheet and monthly balance review have optional browser saving. They save only when you choose Save. Editing, calculating or importing does not update that saved copy automatically. Restore or import lets you review a preview before applying the entries; recalculate to obtain a new result. Other document and calculation tools keep their working entries in the open page unless a feature expressly offers saving. Your browser may restore fields independently through its history or autofill.
Storage, deletion and downloaded copies
A saved plan remains in this site’s local browser storage until you delete it using that tool or your browser settings, or the browser removes it. The tools do not encrypt that stored copy. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to read it. Avoid saving on shared devices. There is no synchronization between devices or backup held by us.
CSV, JSON, TXT, PDF/print and calendar files are created only when you request the relevant action. Financial exports and printouts may contain your entries. They remain under your control; deleting a browser copy does not delete a download, a printout or a calendar event. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase copies that we never receive. Remove them from your device and any service to which you uploaded them.
Page delivery, security and measurement
Cloudflare delivers and protects the public website. Loading a page involves connection information such as your IP address, user agent, requested URL and time of access. The public-site configuration reviewed on September 9, 2026 also included Cloudflare Web Analytics for page use and performance. Those technical requests are separate from calculator entries: our code does not attach financial values to them. Read Cloudflare’s policy and its Web Analytics documentation.
This version uses device/system fonts and does not load Google Fonts. It does not install Google Analytics 4, advertising cookies or a cross-site advertising pixel. Optional plan storage serves the save-and-resume function you request. Hosting security services and an external website you open may handle cookies or other technical data under their own practices. No claim that all website use is anonymous is made.
Paid referrals and external services
We participate in CuraDebt’s referral program through Awin. Choosing a paid referral link opens an external tracking service and destination website. They may process referral and browsing data under their own policies. We do not put your financial entries into those links or submit a lead for you. The link can identify the referring page or position. We do not sell your calculator entries; we do not receive them.
An outside provider may ask for personal information and contact permission on its own website. Review that provider, its privacy terms, fees and permissions before proceeding. Using our tools or clicking a link does not authorize us to call you or send marketing. See the commercial disclosure.
Contact messages: purpose, basis and retention
If you email xaviercahe@gmail.com, we receive your email address, the content and any attachments you choose to send through Google / Gmail. Supplying this information is voluntary; without a reply address we may be unable to answer. Please send a public page link and a fictional example instead of financial statements, account credentials or identifying documents.
We use contact correspondence to respond to the request, investigate a reported issue and maintain a record where necessary to resolve it. The legal basis for necessary reply, website-security and error-handling processing is our legitimate interest in providing and protecting the site and responding to people who contact us. A legal obligation may require separate record retention. We do not add a correspondent to a marketing list.
Correspondence is kept while the request is being handled and for any further period needed to document its resolution, meet a legal obligation or address an actual dispute. Unnecessary copies should be deleted. Hosting and email service providers have their own retention practices; their service policies do not mean that every technical record is held by us. Contact us for information about a specific record.
Your choices and privacy rights
Contact xaviercahe@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent us, or to object to or restrict its use. Portability and other rights apply where the relevant law provides them. We may request only the information reasonably needed to verify and handle the request. Where GDPR applies, the usual response period is one month, with any permitted extension explained. You can raise a concern with AEPD or another competent data-protection authority. This does not require giving up another right or remedy.
Our calculators do not make decisions about loan approval, benefit eligibility or access to a service. We cannot identify a local saved plan as a server-held customer record because no such financial profile is sent to us. For external-provider information, contact that provider as well. We do not promise that a browser’s Do Not Track setting controls another website’s tracking.
Service providers and international processing
Hosting, security, email and referral services can process technical or contact information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Read the relevant policies from Cloudflare, Google / Gmail and the external service you choose. Ask us about the recipients and applicable transfer safeguards for information you have supplied. A provider’s policy alone does not certify this website’s legal compliance.
Audience and policy changes
The site is intended for adults managing finances in the United States, including readers of the available language versions. It does not ask children to submit personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has sent such information. Material changes to these practices will be described here with a new update date; a future email or advertising service requires its own accurate notice before collection begins.
